關內寒生早,南山萬木凋。
長空人望絕,積雪獨尋遙。
靜息非同隱,閑吟忽背樵。
幾侵峯頂月,相念起中宵。

English

Within the passes, the cold sets in early;

On Zhongnan, myriad trees wither.

Under the vast sky, human presence vanishes;

Deep snow; alone, seeking afar.

Quiet repose, not mere reclusion;

Chanting leisurely, suddenly leaving the woodcutter behind.

Almost touching the moon at the summit;

Thoughts of one another stir at midnight.
