Three postings amid waves and billows;
Year after year, Xie Gong is called away.
In the spring residence, mountain yams abound;
Night ships carry letters from the sea.
Beneath the Milky Way, a tower glistens with dew;
Cold river, drums and horns ride the wind.
Who shall inscribe his benevolent rule?
In every respect, he equals the worthies of old.
