九僧詩

Nine Monks / 九僧詩 gathers classical Chan poetry and related Buddhist texts. English translations keep Chinese and English in view together.

The library is a tree: the Nine Monks collection opens into each monk’s shelf; a sutra series holds individual sutras; a separate branch receives occasional poems and gathas. The early Song Nine Monks appear here, and so may other periods and circles. The frame is the poetry and the care of translation, not a single dynasty label.

Published pieces follow the Chan Poetry presentation readings; drafts tagged for review come from longer working notes. Editors revise in admin; each change can become a new translation version with history and diffs.
