西游無舊識，何處寄吟身。 客路秦關暮，鄉心海樹春。 河濤行不盡，嶽翠望空新。 早晚回孤錫，東浮結近鄰。

Roaming west, with no old acquaintances;
Where will your chanting self find lodging?
On the traveler’s road, dusk falls on the Qin passes;
Thoughts of home, spring greening by the sea.
Along the way, river waves never end;
Lofty green peaks, fresh against the empty sky.
In time, the solitary staff will return;
Drifting east, may we become close neighbors.
