遠念生泉石,人中事欲銷。
卷衣城木落,尋寺海山遙。
帆影迷寒雁,經聲隱暮潮。
後期俱未定,況我鬢先凋。

English

Longing for distant springs and rocks arises;

Affairs among men begin to dissolve.

Gathering robes as city trees shed leaves;

Seeking a monastery amid the far sea-mountains.

Sail silhouettes blur among the winter geese;

Sutra chants obscured by the evening tide.

Our next meeting, still uncertain,

the more so, as my temples already wither.
